Our adoption fee is R1,200 per kitten, which includes:
  • Sterilisation
  • Microchip
  • FIV/FeLV Test
  • Vaccination up to date of adoption
  • Deworming & Defleaing up to date of adoption

How it works

  • Submit this application (no payment required yet).
  • A team member will reach out within a few hours to arrange a quick home check.
  • Once approved (within 24 hours), you can choose your kitten, sign the contract, and welcome them home!

Important Guidelines

  • Applicants must be 18+ (applicants 65+ require a co-signatory to ensure lifetime care).
  • Adoptions are a family decision—applications must be completed by the primary caregiver.

Please confirm that everyone in your home supports the decision to adopt. This helps us ensure your new pet settles easily into a happy, welcoming home.
How many hours a day is someone typically at home, and who is usually there?
Do you have domestic or gardening staff? (If yes, please share their general working days/hours).
Please describe your property’s boundary — for example, brick wall, palisade, or wire fencing, and include the approximate height.
If yes, please tell us more so we can help you find solutions or provide advice.
If yes, please provide as much detail as possible.
Feel free to share any additional information that could help us match you with the right pet. An example could be you run a daycare from home, your pets go with you to your holiday home frequently, you make use of a doggy day care etc.

Single Kitten Adoption Policy

Kittens thrive in pairs! Please note that we do have a policy whereby we don't adopt out kittens as singles to be only cats. We strongly believe that they do best with age appropriate feline companionship in the home as they are raised alongside their litter mates and/or other age appropriate cats.
Undertakings
This helps us ensure any behavioral issues can be addressed promptly, keeping both you and your cat happy.
This includes routine care as well as emergency treatment, which can sometimes be costly. Ensuring access to proper veterinary care is essential for your pet’s health and well-being.
Cats can live 15 years or more, and adopting means caring for them throughout their entire life.

By completing and submitting this adoption application form, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing of your personal information by Kitten Clinic for the purpose of evaluating and facilitating the adoption of a kitten.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is used lawfully and transparently. Your information will only be used for purposes directly related to the adoption process, home checks, and necessary follow-ups. It will not be shared with any third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to:

  • Access and correct your personal information.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions).
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator if you believe your rights have been infringed.
